In the fourth game of the season Samo's football team lost to Valencia 41-13 on Friday, Sep. 21. With this loss, Samo is now 2-2 in league.
“We fought for four quarters and beat ourselves tonight,” coach Travis Clark said. "We’re trying to find a rhythm and get back into it."

On Friday, September 14, a fast tempo scoring game between the Chaminade Eagles and the Oaks Christian Lions took place on Chaminade’s very own Deep Blue "C" football field. Friday night’s game wasn’t so much a game for Santa Margarita as it was a scrimmage.
After Carson kicked off, the Eagles wasted no time moving down the field and scoring their first TD barely four minutes into the game. The scoring drive was the first of many for the Eagles, who set a school record with 610 total yards in a 72-0 rout of Carson.

After losing star RB Johnny Hills and QB Kevin Dillman, back up RB Adam Carrasco ran for two TDS to lead La Mirada to a 28-21 victory over St. Francis.
